Bicester Community Church (BCC) is one of a group of sixteen churches working together as Oxfordshire Community Churches (OCC). We are part of the Central Region whose other congregations are the Oxford Community Church, The Leys Community Church, Lifehouse Community Church (Kidlington), Pathways (Banbury)
We are an evangelical, charismatic church that began meeting in Bicester in October 1991 after a small group of us moved out from Oxford.
Starting with just 14 adults plus their children, God has added to our number and we are now a group of about 60 adults drawn from various walks of life and backgrounds. Some have joined us after finding a personal faith in Jesus, others have become involved through personal contact while still others have joined us after moving into the area. We have also seen numerous people move to other parts of the country and other countries as part of the call of God on their lives. Former church family members are involved in the leadership of churches in Belgium and Spain for example.
Whatever their starting point, the church family that we are today are here because they are seeking or have already found a personal relationship with God the Father through his son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
We currently meet at King’s Meadow School on Shakespeare Drive in Bicester from 10.15am to 12.00pm to worship God most Sundays - further details can be found here.
We are also part of Churches in Bicester and are involved in the Love Bicester initiative.
We would love to meet you one Sunday - why not come and visit us one week.
